2 step verification email not sent to gmail.

Can anyone please assist if my verification email is gmail and nothing is coming in, plus no backup code is coming in HOW do I get this resolved? Been trying to log-in since late December. This is getting frustrating

Solved. and use Google authenticator and keep your backup code safe
